How many attendees will be there?

We limit our attendees to 150 bloggers.

Can I add things to a swag bag?

We no longer will be handing out swag bags at our conferences. However, if you desire to get your business in front of our business-minded bloggers, please consider our Sponsor Package. We offer 1/4 page, 1/2 page, and full page ads in our Focused Conference Notebook in addition to our conference sponsorship options. Check out our Sponsor Package.

We do encourage our conference sponsors to have items at their tables for attendees to pick up when they visit your table.

What does sponsor space look like?

We offer 8′ X 10′ booths that include:

  • 1 – 6 foot draped table
  • 2 chairs
  • Brand's Name on Booth Identification Sign
  • TWO representative tickets.

 

What is a Sponsor Spotlight?

A Sponsor Spotlight is only available for our Platinum Sponsors. During the meal they sponsored, sponsors will be given up to 15 minutes to speak to our attendees. This can be a prepared brand video, a representative giving a slide presentation, or a combination of both. 

Are any meals provided for our representatives?

Yes! We provide breakfast and lunch buffets for up to two representatives during the actual conference agenda only.

All dinners are on your own. We encourage our sponsors to plan their own fun elements for one of our evenings on the town in the beautiful Richmond downtown area.

We provide a Mentor & Sponsor Dessert Reception (alcohol-free) on Thursday evening of the event from 8-10 PM. This allows our sponsors and mentors to learn more about each other and build great relationships. 

 

Where do I ship things for my sponsor space?

If you desire to ship things to the hotel please be aware of the Omni Richmond Hotel policies below.

Packages may be delivered to the Hotel within 48 hours of the date of the function. Packages or materials of excessive weight or value must be approved for receipt by the Hotel prior to shipping. Shipping and receiving hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Any boxes received or shipped on Saturday or Sunday must be arranged in advance and may will incur additional incoming and outgoing handling fees. Should special arrangements for delivery be necessary, please contact your Conference Services Manager.

If it is necessary for you to ship materials to the Omni Richmond Hotel, each item must be properly packed and marked with:

We reserve the right to refuse to accept packages that appear damaged, and in any event, we cannot assume any liability for the condition of the contents of any package. A box handling fee will be charged according to the scale below. Shipping of boxes back to the client after the completion of a function will occur through COD only and is also subject to a handling fee as listed below.

Handling Charges
Boxes of 1-25 lbs: $10/box
Boxes of 26-50 lbs: $15/box
Boxes of 51-100 lbs: $25/box
Boxes of 101-150 lbs: $35/box
Boxes of 151-200 lbs: $55/box
Boxes over 200 lbs: $35/100 pounds
Boxes stored over 72 hours will be assessed an additional fee of $15/box/day.

A storage fee of $15.00 per box per day will apply for any boxes received prior to 48 hours of the first function. This storage fee will also apply to each empty packing container stored during the function. The Omni Richmond Hotel is not in any way liable for the contents of these packages.

When do I need to arrive?

Your arrival time is up to you, but please consider the agenda for Wednesday, July 11th as your brand may benefit from it…

What does networking meals mean?

Our meals are the perfect environments for networking because they are around circled tables and without music. Conversations can be heard around the table and relationships can be built just by mingling with different people at our 6 networking meals provided.

Can a sponsor mentor in a workshop?

We have limited opportunities for brands to mentor at the Focused Blogging Conference. To do so, they must be a Platinum Sponsor.

Our workshop consists of 2 1/2 hour divided up this way:

  • 45 minutes of recorded teaching
  • 15 minutes of non-recorded Q&A time
  • 90 minutes of implementing

This workshop must be approved and consists of a topic that must be 100% focused on growing bloggers through hands-on teaching.

Our Platinum Sponsors will be given up to 8-colored pages in our Focused Conference Notebook to be used by attendees during the 90 minutes of implementing of the workshop time.

Does Focused provide the emails for those attending the conference?

No. We do not give out emails of our attendees because this is against the law and is considered selling our email list.

We do encourage our sponsors to provide something at their table that our attendees can sign up for, or provide a business card. It is the sponsor’s responsibility to be strategic about collecting emails from attendees during the conference.

All sponsorship options include space in our Focused Conference Notebook. Consider adding an opt-in offer to gather their emails.

Do you have a Facebook group we can join?

We do, however, we only offer our group to conference sponsors – Platinum and Gold levels only. 

 

When do you close sponsorship packages?

Our sponsorship packages remain open until they are sold out or until May 31st.

If you sell out of a package, can you make an exception?

No. Our packages are tied directly to our agenda and our space due to the unique promotions for our sponsors. When we sell out of a package, we will not be able to make an exception because of those restraints. Our advice is to secure your package early, to be sure it doesn’t sell out.

Do you allow payments?

We do not accept payments. Payment must be made in full at the time of the contract. 

 

What communication will we receive leading up to Focused?

Once payment in full has been given, sponsors will receive all details in an email. It is the sponsor's responsibility to work through the list and meet all deadlines. You will receive one friendly reminder prior to deadlines.

Can we upgrade or downgrade our sponsorship?

Upgrades are also welcomed, but we do not offer a downgrade to a package. All packages are paid in full at the time of the contract. 

 

What if we have questions that are not answered on the FAQ or through the emails?
