If you are a serious blogger, you most likely have attended a blogging conference, or desired to at some point or another. Choose which blogging conference to attend and invest in can be difficult, especially without knowing what to look for in a conference.
Identifying the Value of a Conference
When I first started blogging in September 2012, I booked the first conference that I could find, so I could learn how to do blogging for profit. It was overwhelming, but the things I learned was invaluable. The more that I attended conferences over the next six months, and seeing the growth that came from them, I knew I needed to use some strategizes to choose the conferences.
Through this process, I identified 5 THINGS that I used to identify the value of a conference, and the impact that it should have on my blog, before purchasing a ticket. To hear these things, along with some personal insights, and how Focused Blogging Conference fits in these things, watch this video.
Focused Blogging Conference is an annual blogging conference held in Richmond, Virginia, during the summer. Tickets are limited to only 100 bloggers, and promises to be a conference that focuses on YOUR growth, through learning relevant things to blogging today with experienced mentors who come along side our attendees to share their expertise and success with them. Networking and brainstorming is part of our agenda that allows for attendees to implement and be inspired during the conference.
